PRPF therapy was performed on a patient with recurrent redness and hyperpigmentation due to inflammation of atopic dermatitis. Six months later, the patient hardly felt itching and no longer had symptoms of atopic dermatitis. After one year, the hyperpigmentation disappeared and the patient's skin became fair and white, even though no whitening agent was applied.
